The first is the the Riverfront Times Best of St. Louis Party. It’s going to be at the City Museum on Thursday, November 4th and it’s going to be awesome. The second is the Wish Upon A Wedding Blissful Wishes Ball on Sunday, November 14th, 2010 at the Chase Park Plaza. Wish Upon A Wedding is an organization that provides weddings to couples facing a terminal illness or serious life-altering circumstances at no charge. The Blissful Wishes ball is a fundraiser to support Wish Upon A Wedding. I’m thrilled and honored that Fish Eye Fun will be a sponsor at the ball.

I’m pretty sure these to ladies had a lot to do with planning the shower.

As usual… I can’t resist the kids.

Sometimes my favorite shots are the ones I get when we are on our way to take photos…

All the pictures from the shower can be found in Client Galleries. The password is Ashley’s dog’s name… remember? Here’s a hint: “Like the soup.”

Ashley hired me to shoot her bridal shower at Pheasant Run in O’Fallon. It was a great afternoon filled with tons of smiles and laughter (my kind of people). After the shower was over we headed over to a restaurant where we met up with “the boys” including her fiancé Dan. Dan is a great guy and it’s clear Ashley can’t wait until their wedding in September. The tough part about Dan is, he does NOT like having his picture taken. When he finally agreed to step outside for a few minutes, I will admit I was a little nervous.

I know Ashley is excited to see her pictures from the shower and I planned on posting a “Just One” photo from it, but I think she’ll appreciate this one instead. Look for the rest of the sneak peek later this week.

Oh, when photographing a man who does not like having his picture taken… let him keep his beer!

I’ve been working on some improvements for my Fish Eye Fun setup… there will be a new section of my website dedicated to this with a list of all the new improvements. In the mean time, here is a sneak preview:

My dad is a singer. He’s been singing all his life. Didn’t you know he played Lancelot in in high school?

Last night he performed with a group of other singers at Schwaig Art Glass Works in Lafayette Square in “A Little Night Music Three.” It was put together by B. Derton Studios. Special thanks to Steve Brammeier (my dad), Anna Blair, Shirley Aschinger, Brian Derton, Bob Becherer, Carolyn Lesser and of course Carol Schmidt on the piano for such fun music filled evening.
