Ashley’s Bridal Shower – Sneak Peek

As I said in an earlier post, Ashley hired me to shoot her bridal shower. She found me through her cousin Cydney (whom I’ve know since our Blueberry Hill days).

I’m pretty sure these to ladies had a lot to do with planning the shower.

As usual… I can’t resist the kids.

Sometimes my favorite shots are the ones I get when we are on our way to take photos…

All the pictures from the shower can be found in Client Galleries. The password is Ashley’s dog’s name… remember? Here’s a hint: “Like the soup.”

This photo isn’t exactly from the bridal shower…

Ashley hired me to shoot her bridal shower at Pheasant Run in O’Fallon. It was a great afternoon filled with tons of smiles and laughter (my kind of people). After the shower was over we headed over to a restaurant where we met up with “the boys” including her fiancé Dan. Dan is a great guy and it’s clear Ashley can’t wait until their wedding in September. The tough part about Dan is, he does NOT like having his picture taken. When he finally agreed to step outside for a few minutes, I will admit I was a little nervous.

I know Ashley is excited to see her pictures from the shower and I planned on posting a “Just One” photo from it, but I think she’ll appreciate this one instead. Look for the rest of the sneak peek later this week.

Oh, when photographing a man who does not like having his picture taken… let him keep his beer!

A Little Night Music Three

My dad is a singer. He’s been singing all his life. Didn’t you know he played Lancelot in in high school?

Last night he performed with a group of other singers at Schwaig Art Glass Works in Lafayette Square in “A Little Night Music Three.” It was put together by B. Derton Studios. Special thanks to Steve Brammeier (my dad), Anna Blair, Shirley Aschinger, Brian Derton, Bob Becherer, Carolyn Lesser and of course Carol Schmidt on the piano for such fun music filled evening. Abbie's Birthday – Fish Eye Fun!

How do you save your image(s) to post on Facebook?

Go to the Fish Eye Fun Gallery.
Find your images.
Right Click (or Option Click for all you cool Mac people) and select “Save Image As…”
Save your image(s) on your computer. Just don’t forget where you saved them.

Simple, right?

(If you look for the “Share” button in top right of the gallery, there are a few more choices.)

I hope you do! You can do that from the online gallery too! Just click on the “buy” button and follow the onscreen directions.

Artisan Caffe – Grand Opening

In addition to the Fish Eye Fun camera, I roamed the grand opening of the Artisan Caffe, capturing the fun candid moments that unfolded throughout the evening.

Jordan was literally working past the last minute on stencils for some Artisan Caffe stencils.

It was a little chilly… scratch that… it was FREEZING outside but spray painting in the middle of the party wasn’t a good idea.

StudioX did the new logo design for the caffe… which got a lot of use.

There were lots of great food items to munch on.

And great music to listen to as well.

Even the furniture was fun to look at.

The Fish Eye Fun camera was really a lot of fun for everyone.

There was living painting going on too.

And a little bit of drawing too.

I had a BLAST at the grand opening of the Artisan Cafe in Maplewood tonight. The “Fish Eye Fun” set up was a HUGE hit.
