Janette and Mary were married on a beautiful Friday afternoon in October. The 28th of October actually. If you’re a Cardinals fan, you know what that means.

They did not let the distraction of Game 7 of the World Series diminish their celebration in any way.

Even if you’re not a baseball fan, I think it’s a law somewhere that if your wedding is on the same day a Game 7 of the World Series, you have to stop by Busch Stadium for some photos. We even managed to get interviewed by ABC news!

The weekend started with a rehearsal party and a quick pre-wedding photo session. I loved the cowboy theme to their outfits.

The wedding and reception was at Longview Farm in Town and Country. If you’re looking for a intimate and beautiful venue, you need to check them out.

Tina and Special Event Florist did an marvelous job with the bouquet and flowers. They were breathtaking.

Alison and Jesse were one of the first couples to book me. They were married on one of those “if you don’t like the weather wait a minute” St. Louis September days. It was hot, then it rained, then it was humid, then it started to cool off, then it rained again, and then it was a really nice pleasant evening. Fortunately it rained during the ceremony (which was inside) and stopped just as they made their exit. It didn’t start raining again until we got to the reception which was also inside. Despite being a little warm to start off with, it was beautiful day for a wedding!

When they told me they wanted to stop at Bogarts, I was a little worried. BBQ sauce and wedding dresses are a toxic combination. I wish I could say I was funny enough to get them to laugh this hard… but I’m not.

Veronica and Dave live outside Kansas City but will be getting married in St. Louis next year. Boy did we get lucky on weather for their engagement session! Veronica loves art so we started out at the Contemporary Art Museum (the building is art in itself if you ask me) and finished up at the City Garden. I did a little more creative processing that unusual but I think it works for them.

It was only a few months ago that I saw Laura and Tyler for their engagement session. They got married on what started out to be a very hot and then very wet day in July.

Tyler got ready at his grandparent’s house in north county. The flag was flying for the Fourth of July.

An Obama baseball card? I wonder what a Nixon rookie card is worth?

I love Laura’s dress!

Despite being extremely hot and humid, we decide to brave the outdoors for a few minutes.

The wedding scheduled to start at 4 PM but mother nature had other plans. It started to rain at about 3:45 and just didn’t stop.Fortunately, Larimore House Plantation has an indoor option too.It wasn’t the outside wedding they had planned, but it was still a beautiful wedding.Munchkins.I love it when just about everybody gets out on the dance floor!We got a little break in the weather so I was able to get a few more shots outside.

Jessica and Brian were married on a beautiful Saturday in June at The Westin. We had enough time to hit up their neighborhood park in Lafayette Square for some wedding photos before the ceremony. It was a wonderful fun day!

Mimosas!And grapes!I love the look on Jessica’s face in this shot!I think this is one of my favorite bridal party photos.Toms! Jessica had custom Tom’s for her bride’s maids.The Westin did a wonderful job transitioning the ceremony space into the reception space. Not only did the cake look great, it was delicious thanks to the Cakery!

When throwing the bouquet at the Westin, please be aware the ceiling.Superman swooped in for a few photos.
