Celia + Lindsay { st. louis wedding photography }

It’s a small world!

One of the first weddings I shot was for my good friend Molly. Celia and Lindsay found me because Celia’s mom works with Molly’s mom Linda. Of course, Celia also looks strikingly like Molly’s sister Katie. And to top it off, Lindsay works with Molly’s dad Jay.

So I’m happy to know Molly and her family because now I know Celia and Lindsay. They came to the studio on one of those crazy warm days in March.

Celia has some crazy baby blues.

undefined

Lindsay has some knock out peepers too.

undefined

It did not take long for them to warm up in front of the camera!

undefined

Ironically enough my red couch came from Molly’s parents too. Crazy small world.

I love their boots!

I’m can’t wait to photograph their wedding in September!

[…] discussing their engagement session Celia and Lindsay suggested I look into a blog called A Bicycle Built For […]

[…] For Two just got married on Saturday but they still took the time to post some shots I took  from Celia and Lindsay’s engagement […]

katie + paul { st. louis wedding photography }

Katie and Paul celebrated their beautiful wedding a few weeks ago. With the ceremony at Atonement Lutheran Church in Florrisant and a rockin’ reception at Windows Off Washington, it made for an awesome first full wedding of the season. Enjoy the slideshow and preview below. Links to the full gallery and all the wonderful vendors can be found at the bottom of this post.

Katie’s necklace broke before she even had a chance to put it on… with a little thread and some patience Mick (her maid of honor) and  Kathy (Paul’s mom) fixed it right up.
undefined
undefined
Bailey was one of the cutest flower girls I’ve seen.

undefined
undefined

Stems Florist did a wonderful job with Katie’s bouquet!

Katie’s dad Garland took a few minutes to work on his speech. What I love about this photo is that he’s sitting at Katie’s desk.

What did I tell you about Bailey? Cutest. Flower Girl. Ever.
undefined
I don’t think Katie stopped smiling the entire day. She looked amazing.

I love this shot of Katie’s twin brother Andrew.

The folks over at Maiden Voyage did a beautiful job on Katie’s dress.

With St. Patrick’s day traffic, we didn’t get much time for “around town” photography, but we did manage to get about 15 minutes at The Arch.
undefined
undefined
I always love to see what’s going on behind me when I’m taking pictures of the bride and groom.

Even the ushers got in on the fun!

Wedding Wonderland made a stunning and delicious cake.

I love it when the toasts get some laughs. Mick, the maid of honor, didn’t let us down.

Katie and her dad took a moment to practice their dance in the hallway.

I have to give a shout out to Jimmy Hussey of A Rockin’ DJ for keeping it… well… Rockin.’ He’s one of the best DJ’s in St. Louis.

What great photos! It’s too hard to choose a favorite, but the one of Andrew watching his sister is definitely up there. 🙂

I have to agree! That one is one of my favorites!

hannah { bat mitzvah photography }

Hannah celebrated her Bat Mitzvah at B’nai Amoona in St. Louis county on beautiful Saturday a few weeks ago. It is always an honor to be asked to document such a special day in a young person’s life. I hope Hannah and her family enjoyed our photography session as much as I did.

Rachel { headshot }

I met Rachel when she hired Fish Eye Fun instead of a photo booth for a Halloween party last year. She’s been following my work on the blog and on Facebook. After seeing Rev. Christal’s headshots she sent me a message asking me to take one of her. She works in real estate and wanted something a head shot that is little more fresh and fun than the typical “Sears portrait” that many agents get.

I hope she’s happy with what she got!

And if you’re looking for a real estate agent you might try getting in touch with on her website – rachelboxdorfer.com.
