Clare and her parents Colleen and Matt had me out to their home a couple weeks ago. Clare loves to run, jump, spin, roll… pretty much anything but sit still. But that’s fine with me.
Karen and Nick’s engagement session was the first time I had met them. They live in Rolla so they booked me over the phone. I had no idea Karen has such amazing blue eyes… Nick is a lucky guy to see those big blues every day!
April 30th is going to be an awesome day!
Remember, Fish Eye Fun is perfect for wedding receptions, holiday parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and fund raisers.
It’s been a busy month and I’ve fallen far behind on my blogging but I finally have the full preview of Allison and Brian’s wedding on October 2nd!
Cambodian Blessing Strings
(or Sompeas Ptem)
The family and guests tie what are called “blessing strings” to the wrists of the bride and groom while wishing them blessings for their future prosperity, health, and happiness.
Once tied, the strings cannot be cut. Instead, the couple must wait until they fall off or become loose enough to slip over the wrist. This way, the blessing is never broken and all their family’s wishes for them come true.
I love this sweater!
