Landlocked Bride

Britt Tucker is a web developer and  a bride-to-be. About a year and a half a go she started blogging about her wedding planning experience with LandlockedBride.com. She has done an excellent job keeping her blog updated with great wedding ideas from the Midwest and around the country.

She also happens to be a big Cardinals fan. When she stumbled across one of my photos from Betsy and Josh’s wedding at Busch Stadium, she blogged about it. I just wanted to say thanks to Brit for mentioning me. If you’re getting married in the Midwest you should check out her blog.

I’m kinda hoping maybe she’ll mention me again?

Perhaps my “Trash The… Shoes?” post will make it on Tuesday Shoesday?

Or maybe she’ll be impressed by my Fish Eye Fun photos?

Thanks Brit!

Ben – Thanks so much for the shout out! I’m glad to feature local vendors – anything to help educate the Midwest bride!

The Little Things

I recently had the great pleasure of being a third shooter for Kathryn Gaiennie on one of her weddings in Shreveport, LA. As much as I love shooting people (and being the primary photographer), I do enjoy the freedom to focus on little details that being a 2nd or 3rd shooter allows me.

I can’t wait to share photos of the bride and groom, wedding party, stunning reception venue, and the totally awesome band… but this was not my wedding. In the meantime here are a few little detail shots:

Allison and Brian – Sneak Peek (finally!)

I has taken me WAY too long to get more shots from Allison and Brian’s engagement shoot posted. I guess that’s the price I pay for moonlighting on a TV series. I have to give thanks to Allison and Brian, not only for being such a great couple to photograph (we had an awesome morning in the Central West End), but also for being so patient.

I love Left Bank Books… and so does Allison. She works there. It was fun staging a little scene in the magazine section.

The fountain was a fun spot.

I know there is no Brian in this picture but Allison just looks so cute.

There was lots of kissing involved on our shoot.

I don’t think October 2nd can come soon enough.

Ben, in a short time you have come a long way! There is some really great stuff here, well done!

Betsy and Josh – Sneak Peek!!!

Last weekend I got to photograph a wedding with two of the coolest people I know… at one of the coolest places I know. Betsy and Josh got married at Busch Stadium on April 9th. It was awesome. Perfect weather. Beautiful bride. A groom who likes to mug at the camera. And guests who like to get silly and play around with a Fish Eye Camera!

There are a lot more Fish Eye Fun shots from the wedding in Betsy and Josh’s client gallery. Remember the password? It’s on the postcards handed out at the wedding. If you don’t have one, please contact me for the password. You can download your image right off the site too… share via email and Facebook.

Now, onto the Sneak Peek!
